I'm Tilly — mummy to four and the face behind Tilly Jayne Photography. Maternity photography is one of my greatest joys: capturing the quiet strength, glow and curves of pregnancy in images you'll treasure forever. Based in my cosy studio at 2-6 Derry Street, Barrow in Furness, I create a calm, welcoming space where you can relax, be yourself and enjoy a little celebration of your changing body. My approach is personal and collaborative. Before your session we’ll chat about the look you’d like — whether you want soft, natural portraits, elegant studio lighting, or a more styled, dramatic feel. You can come as you are, or bring a favourite dress; I’m happy to advise on simple wardrobe and styling choices so we get images you’ll be proud to display at home. My aim is to make you feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera, guiding gentle poses that flatter your bump and capture authentic moments. I specialise in maternity and family storytelling, so I love including partners or older children when you want family moments alongside solo bump portraits. Sessions are timed to showcase your pregnancy at its most photogenic, and I’ll talk you through the best timing and ideas so we catch it perfectly. Throughout the shoot I keep things relaxed and unhurried — this is your experience, and I want it to be enjoyable and memorable. Beyond the session itself, I pride myself on friendly, clear communication and a high level of customer care. My clients often comment that they felt at ease straight away and enjoyed the whole process — from planning to viewing their final images.
