I’m Nikki, the face behind NC Hopes Photography, and maternity photography is at the heart of what I do. Based on the border of Cheadle Hulme and Bramhall, I specialise in creating natural, timeless maternity photos that celebrate this extraordinary chapter of your life. My approach centres on making you feel beautiful, comfortable and completely at ease so the images reflect who you are — confident, tender, playful or quietly radiant. What makes my maternity sessions different is the combination of a relaxed, personal studio space and a love of outdoor lifestyle photography. My purpose-built studio at home gives you a calm, private environment with gowns available and the option of hair and make-up so you can feel treated like a queen. If you prefer natural surroundings, I often recommend scenic local locations around Stockport and South Manchester to create soft, natural backdrops that complement your bump and personality. My style is natural and timeless — I favour flattering, simple styling and soft light that produces images you’ll want to display on your walls for years to come. I’ll guide you with gentle posing and simple prompts so you don’t need to be photogenic or know any techniques — just bring yourself and anyone you’d like to include. Partners and siblings are very welcome; capturing the emotional connection between you and your family is one of my favourite parts of a bump shoot. Working with me is easy: from an initial chat about ideas and wardrobe to a relaxed session on the day, I aim to create a warm, friendly atmosphere. I’m flexible about studio or outdoor sessions and I’ll advise on colours and outfits that won’t date — neutral tones, soft pastels, denims and creams work beautifully.
