I’m Louise — an Earlsfield-based maternity photographer with a warm, organic and down-to-earth approach to pregnancy photography. My work is rooted in natural daylight and simple moments: the quiet shape of a bump, the averted smile, the hand that rests protectively on a belly. I specialise in maternity sessions and I love helping expecting parents feel confident, comfortable and seen. With a 15‑year background in fashion design and trend forecasting, I bring a quietly curated eye to every shoot. That experience means I understand colour, texture and composition — but my camera always aims to reflect the real, gentle emotions of the moment rather than contrived styling. I trained at the British Academy of Photography and now combine that technical knowledge with a relaxed, personal style so you get timeless, authentic images. How I work: after you enquire I send a short questionnaire so I can get to know you and your vision. You’ll receive a helpful preparation and style guide ahead of the session and I’m always happy to chat by phone or email to plan outfits, locations and mood. Sessions can take place in the familiar comfort of your home, outdoors in nearby parks and commons, or in my luxury daylight studio in SW London if you’d prefer a calmer, controlled environment. To make your session easy I offer access to a complimentary client wardrobe with dresses and knitwear suited for pre and postnatal mums, plus blankets and simple props to keep the focus on your family. My aim is to create a calm, supportive atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy the moment — I guide gently, but always work with what feels natural for you. You’ll receive a collection of carefully edited, high‑resolution images a few weeks after your shoot, ready to print or share. I’m also a volunteer with the National Childbirth Trust, so I understand the sensitivities and joys of early parenthood and approach each maternity session with empathy and care.
